Good stuff ?

The instruction was given at a good pace; not too slow and repetitive, but not so fast that the information couldn’t be absorbed. Not as much use of the pause button as some tutorials. The student is encouraged to try your own personally pleasing preferences when available which leads to some exploration, some breakage and learning to fix things. I made my own assets for the tutorial, so it was really exciting to see the game come to life. This course gives a good foundation. I’m ready to learn more by diving into the Scripting API to get more familiar with Unity and do more tutorials. Thank you!

The process was mostly well explained, easy to follow, and suitable for beginners. However, sometimes the captions were different from the lecture. Also, on some specific functions the instructor doesn’t seem to thoroughly establish what goal he wants to achieve and how he will get there by using that specific function. Otherwise though, excellence tutorial series. I recommend this to all Unity beginners.

I would like to thank my lecturer for this project, without this tutorial, I wouldn’t get to make this game.

very good course the instructors walks you through every step thoroughly and you have a very good working Asteroids game at the end. This is the second course I’ve taken from this instructor and would definitely take more.

Amazing to see an old arcade favorite come to life so quickly and with so little code! Like Octo Man’s other courses the pace is great, the code simple enough to follow along & understand and by the end of the course you always have nice basic demo level, with a menu & game over scenes. Whatever Octo Man teaches, I always wish for more: additional power ups, game modes or a new spin on the game, but you can’t beat the price for the basic game you build. I always jump at Octo Man’s latest game courses!
