The instructor goes above and beyond to make sure that you understand all topics covered. Other resources are also given if you still cannot understand the instructor’s explanation. I definitely feel like the info I am learning is valuable.

Instructor effectively communicates information and works slowly with you to achieve goals. He also definitely is passionate about unity, and teaches in a modular way so I can apply the concepts in a different context.

I love the amount of detail that the instructor has gone in to in the way of even the basic setup of the environment that the course is about. I highly recommend this course for all levels. Looking forward to the rest of the course!

Having been frustrated with other Udemy courses on Unity, I can say that this course is the real deal. A very articulate walk through of all the important aspects of Unity and game development in general. These lessons allow anyone to go from zero to hero, and anyone that puts effort into this course can become a full fledged game developer by the end.

It’s easy to understand. I took this class with no prior experience. Instructor is very good at explaining the material. Thanks Arthur.

I’m halfway through this course and I am still excited to learn what’s next! Unity is so expansive that it’s great to have an instructor that knows the material and can teach it well!

Course is more basic than I expected, which is fine, but the instructor should: a.) Speak louder and more confidently. He practically whispers through most of the session and it’s very difficult to listen to that for hours. Was someone sleeping in the same room the whole time? b.) Reduce phrases like extremely important and very, very important. When everything is important, nothing is, and I don’t expect you’d be explaining something if it was not important. Good course!

Great pace, good information. Speaker volume is a bit low, so I need to use headphones, but otherwise it’s great.

Definitely in my top 10 courses and not just on Udemy. Very concise, on point, knowledgeable, and incredibly resonsive to question. Would love to see more content if not in this course then definite in another. Keep up the good work, Arthur!

The course covers all of the relevant materials and you will gain some proficiency with Unity. The instructors demeanor is good and his knowledge of the topic seems good. On the critical side, this is the first time an instructor has refereed me to another instruction source for an understanding of the material being taught. If only my history teacher had told me I should go learn history from Youtube as this person is given to doing in a few spots. I understand that in some areas he doesn’t want get into huge detail on a topic but perhaps Go watch this youtube video, they have a far better explanation of the topic might be a bit outside the bounds. In some area he is very focused on his message but in many areas he can go off on tangents, spending significant amounts of time playing with and RECHANGING material colors for his own gratification. He claims in the beginning he’s a programmer and doesn’t care much about the aesthetics but much later during the tank game plagiarizes for fussing over colors because he’s a Perfectionist. It drags things way out and makes the videos hard to sit through. I’m in section 10 now and again he’s fussing with colors and the perfect intersection between two objects unity mechanics. I’ve already build Roll A Ball and it works just fine with small gaps in the corners. In other areas he even admits he’s rushing things and flies through the lessons. This normally isn’t a problem but he’s naming objects in Unity and then using those names in case sensitive code in MonoDevelop which could cause significant troubleshooting issues for users new to programming. Luckily this was not the case for me. Overall knowledgeable and able to present the material.

The instructor is incredibly soft spoken and monotone makes it hard to stay engaged. He often repeats unnecessary information and it slows things done

just started but he has a calm voice and explains in detail love it!
