very good start to my unreal training. only issue (being picky) I would mention was that at times david went a little too fast in the tutorial for me to keep up with. (pause and play I know 🙂 ) but to be honest a really good start

Yes. I learned a lot about Unreal Engine.

Started slow but I can follow. Hopefully it will have the same pace as the subject advances, it becomes harder to keep up.

The best way to teach

Speaking as an experienced and qualified teacher, this course is good. It’s exactly as it is advertised, but if I could change 2 things it would be: 1) Add more opportunities for the learner to practice what is being taught (as you did earlier when learning how to use the camera in the viewport) and 2) I would have appreciated more examples of where certain blueprints have been used in popular video games (as mentioned in the beginning of the course). It’s very difficult to think of all the uses for various blueprints without seeing how other developers have decided to implement them.

Great! this really really helped me understand core blueprint principles, I want more like this. thanks.
Col Morrow –
Very well laid out information on the layout and functions of the editor

The course is doing fine so far. What I would like to add as a suggestion is to make it more exiting, and less like an animal documentary from Animal Planet Channel. The instructor voice pace sometimes is so calm and lacking in excitement that I feel sleepy. I know that these topics are not exciting at all, they are the basic. But using a more game experience content (a game character inside what would be a dungeon or so) could help explain the same tools under a different dressing : ). Good work explaining the basics, though could be more linked to hands on gaming situations/scenarios.

Found how to link GitHub and build on CentoOS7 after installing vulkan. Took some time to abandon other Cmake, make for project1 and to use intended compile under UE4Editor. Play time without audio so far.

So far so good. I am very happy with my purchase.
Emil Hristov –

Great course and a great teacher. Thank you!

Very direct and to the point. Feel much more comfortable now with UE4 and the interface. I know what each menu item is for, workflow concepts that are important and just a solid overall view of how the Unreal Engine works.

started off okay but then went to advanced in terminology without explaining… this is a beginners course! confused me. Lecturer has knowledge but is unable to explain to a layman. should not call this beginners course if you cannot explain to a beginner! disappointing! the blueprint chapter is awful. the more and more i am going through the course the more irritated I am getting as I have to google the uses of what he is supposed to explain!!

het is goed te volgen en erg veel dejtajs

Cours wasn’t easy to follow as the tutor’s voice and the video was often out of sync. Also, this course approach is more do this and that, click here and there than do this because of …. I think this course would have been more helpful if explanations were while you making a game, rather than before real action. Also, the tutor’s speech seems to be recorded with different microphones, and therefore the sound often suddenly changes back and forth. Ocassionly there is loud background noise. However, tutor himself seems to be knowledgeable, but unfortunately, the course quality feels poor. But this is just my personal experience, it might feel different for you.
