Are you familiar with your computer’s terminal? Are you aware of the different fields in software development or even the type of developer you want to be? If you answered no to any of these question then you are not ready to invest in any coding bootcamp or online courses. As a first step, you should take this course. Here, I will teach powerful terminal commands and use cases, as well as highlight the major fields in software development. We will discuss what it takes to become a software developer in these perspective fields, as well as the associated programming languages and average annual salaries. Upon completion of this course, not only will you be comfortable with your terminal, you will know the exact type of software developer you want to be – allowing you to then invest your time and money wisely.

This course was tremendously helpful in providing exactly the information I needed to start my journey. Something I loved in particular was how simple he made it, often breaking down complex terminology, and helping ease the stress of taking on something this big. Often times I have found that people who try and teach coding take pride in its complexity and scare away some of us who may not be as familiar. But that is not what happened here, I feel inspired to start, I think Full Stack is the way I would like to go, but AI, Data Science and Blockchain sound cool too.
