Are you ready to launch your own WordPress website in 2020?
If so, this is the perfect course to start with. This complete WordPress Essentials course is designed for beginners like you that are ready to create your own business, brand, or portfolio website (or any custom WordPress website for that matter).
WordPress powers approximately 28% of the web. Think about that for a second… WordPress is the perfect tool to add to your skillset!
WordPress may seem intimidating at first, but once you get started it’s super easy to get a hang of! I’ll show you how to buy a domain, hosting, and install the WordPress software all in the first few videos! My course also includes setting up a Secure SSL (that green lock icon next to your URL), an important step in making your website secure! Then, the remainder of the course I’ll show you how to navigate the WordPress software and utilize all of the essential features.
Why learn from me?
I’ve been building WordPress websites for many years. In college, I used to build WordPress websites for local businesses in order to pay for my expenses.
I love WordPress because it gives you the opportunity to build professional websites in a fraction of the time (compared to coding websites from scratch).

This course does an excellent job at describing everything you need to know to go from nothing all the way to having really impressive working WordPress websites. The instructor explains everything in superb detail, even showing you the common errors that you might encounter along the way. In a very short space of time these lectures have allowed me to go from not knowing almost anything about WordPress to having an excellent understanding of its core features as well as much more. If you are interested in learning about the essentials of WordPress as well as finding out about how to launch your own WordPress website then you really need look no further this course covers it all.

I’ve just started and so far the course is very detailed and easy to follow.

I think this is just about the worst course that I have purchase on Udemy. The instructor speaks in a very flat monotone voice with no enthusiasm or energy. The way that each video is setup has you basically just following along with the instructor with little explanation on what you are doing and why. The flow of the course goes first do this, then do this, next you will see this. I don’t think I can finish this one… Edit: I don’t mind the step by step flow of this course, it is the delivery that is the problem for me. Next time you should try to imagine that you are talking with students in a classroom setting. Have some energy and make it fun. This will help students get through the course without falling a sleep.

Was hoping for a bit more understanding of WPBakery, however, overall it was a good course. What I particularly likes was the concise delivery of well thought out information, in a slow, digestible manner. Good overview for people brand new to websites; but a bit rudimentary for me.

Yes, I’ve done a lot of HTML coding 5+ years ago but have never used WordPress. Looking forward to buying a domain and building a website for my chorus using the info Kevin provided.

A very good match for me, this explains enough that I can match it to our experience having had a WordPress website developed by someone else, which I didn’t understand. This explains everything from scratch, so I am able to keep up. Having our website already hosted on a CPanel host means it is familiar.

I already have a DNS name from No IP with SSL certificate and I have WordPress dot org downloaded to my Raspberry Pi 4B where I am self hosting. The rest of the lessons were spot on. Now to set up my own WoodPress website.
