This course takes you step–by–step through the process of adding a shopping cart to your WordPress website and collecting money for your products or services no prior ecommerce experience is necessary. The course is designed as a quick–start (about 90 minutes) introduction to the best WordPress shopping cart software, and covers about 90% of WooCommerce out–of–the–box functionality.

An informative course offering a top eye view of what WooCommerce can do. Great for anyone wishing to start an e commerce store with WordPress.

Marc is a great instructor. I watched the entire course in one sitting and now I’m ready to download a Woo Commerce theme. But Marc cautions that if you currently have a website, make sure that it is compatible to Woo Commerce before making the switch. Very Important!!! He when through all of the different Woo Commerce tabs: Orders Reports Coupons Settings System. Marc also showed some coding and mentioned a few times when a programmer would be the best option. I really appreciated his teachings, and the cautions. Knowing your limitations prior to making significant changes to a webpage is important. However, if you’re building a brand new site, it’s far better to start with the shopping cart right from the beginning. Woo Commerce is very powerful. I currently have a Shopify site, but am seriously considering switching to a Woo Commerce theme based on Marc’s great instructions.

Too little content. Woocommerce platform is definitely not as well developed as Shopify. That’s what I gather after going through this course. Some of the videos are outdated too, dating all the way back to 2014
