Do you know a little programming in C# or another language, but are struggling to get an interview, let alone a job?
Maybe you are stuck in a low paying programming job, and want to move up to a better, more senior position.
Perhaps you want to learn a new skill and expand your resume.
Or maybe you want to improve your .NET skills by learning a new and valuable framework.
If one or more of these things describe you, then I’d suggest you give serious consideration to this course.
This course will teach you how to create applications that have a rich user interface, using Microsoft’s Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF).
What is WPF ?
WPF is part of the .NET framework and provides a consistent programming model for building applications by separating the user interface from business logic. It uses XAML (an XML based language) and C#. The runtime libraries are included with all versions of Microsoft Windows since Windows Vista. It’s heavily supported by Microsoft and is a mature and powerful framework.
Why should you bother to learn it?
Many, perhaps most enterprise level .NET applications are built in WPF because of it’s ability to create loosely coupled apps where the business logic and presentation layer are separated. This also applies to apps in general that are developed in .NET. A good portion of Winforms based projects are being upgraded to WPF as well.

Great course, especially for beginners, with a good and clear explanation…
Kin Fat WONG –
Content is rich and useful for beginner to learn.
Nikola Cimbaljevic –
The teacher is really god teaching and have good concept
Shorty Boa –
Struggled with understanding concepts or the functionality of properties and packages since I started learning how to coding in my training as a software developer at a school (teachers missing and no one cares). Now I’m in a company having my professional internship. This one helped me out alot, especially SQL, method overloading/overwriting by now (until chapter 6). Looking forward to the next sections!

the course wass good, I learned a lot, but you have to watch it at 2x
Alberto Yanez –
Great course. The lessons are planned to give you an idea of the whole process and not just WPF tidbits.
K.Bibik –
Most of more complicated things were never explained. Code is not working properly, Evernote Clone is missing basic functionalities, i will not even complain how dissapointed i Was when you were solving problems in code behind…
Lorenzo Ruggiero –
Until now everything all right.

Not only does this course give you a thorough understanding and practical experience with WPF, you also obtain skills for working with web APIs, cloud storage, and UI design. It took me over a year from a started this course until I now finished it (work and life got in the way), but even after stopping using c# daily it was still fun to come back and finish the course. Highly enjoyable experience.

The instructor explains everything very well.
Jonathan Spencer –
Easy to follow and well explained.

This is what exactly I needed! I can make clear the C# basics and learns how to make complex application by using those basic concepts! Thank you a lot.

A lot of messy code everywhere. Also the name masterclass is totally misleading. This course is on WPF foundations, more like a showcase of components in a iterative way. The most difficult thing in WPF is to decouple business logic from code behind and here the master is missing that completely. He just states I know it should be done in the ViewModel. That’s the point, people will write messy code in WPF for that reason.
Mark Ho –
Cover a lot of topic, really useful
Aaron Butler –
Really good foundational coverage of WPF. Some things need to be updated for 2020 standards and sometimes the instruction is a little hard to follow, but overall a good course. Thanks!
Rupa Chowdhury –
Yes, but how can anyone give feedback in the starting of the course????
Andrew J Beeman –
Yes, add Entity Framework so we don’t have to write SQL and update the course

I have tried multiple courses form Lynda/Linked in learning, and this is the first course that actually explains the entire process in detail. I am very satisfied so far.

Very well made course. Only had to withhold half a star since the trainer ever so often starts to talk in circles for 2 minutes which I found a bit off putting. Other than that a absolutely great course. It is very clear the trainer knows what he is talking about and the presentation is well done as well. As a little example, the part about styling and static resources. With many courses one would get an explanation that one can set all those values specifically but we’re not doing that because it’s inefficient. Of course they would be absolutely correct but I like that the trainer here is actually showing the most simple and straightforward approach first and then improves on it in the next iterations. Demonstrating very well that the effort of preparing certain things is well worth it in the end even if the setup might be a lot longer than just using the straightforward approach. That just as a small example of what I like about the trainers style of presentation. I personally only wanted a little intro into WPF, especially XAML since I so far only worked with WinForms or Web Applications but also got some useful information here and there on other topics. So for everyone wanting a dip into WPF or C# coding in general I can highly recommend this course.

Very structured presentation of course material. In addition, for me, as a non English speaker, it was very easy to perceive the teacher’s speech by ear. Thank you for the course, and thank you for your clear speach!

I love the course structure and the way they introduce new concepts. Pretty good course, way above my expectations.

Excellent , Very understandable explanation at good pace and enough content. Looking forward to complete the course.

This is an excellent course. It also covers other technologies and how to use them from WPF.

El curso fue lo que esperaba. Hay un par de secciones que se tornan algo confusas por la mezcla de patrones de desarrollo en WPF, pero en general se termina el curso aprendiendo lo que se buscaba.
