The audio is pretty bad in a lot of the discussions. I’ve had to listen to many of the discussions multiple times at different speeds. The problem is the microphone is usually *not* next to the speaker’s mouth, which causes a tunnel or distant audio effect. The speaker has a thick french accent, which is normally not a problem, but with the audio issue, the discussions are very difficult to understand most of the time. Other than the audio problems, the content is still relevant even after 5 years. If you can get around the audio problems, it’s a worthwhile course. However, I’d wait for the Udemy sales before purchasing. I don’t think it’s worth the full price with the audio issues.

Excellent course for beginners. The teacher knows his stuff and explains it step by step. There are many resources which I found helpful to review the material. I totally recommend this course.

If you’re looking for a course that goes into detail about FASM then this is it, look no further. The professor is knowledgeable and cares about the content of his course. Compared to other courses this has significantly more content and the exercises he provides ensure you understand the content. Do not let the complaints about audio sway you away from this course. If you’re serious about learning it is far from a hindrance.

Pretty good x86 Assembly course. I love it so far. Two things kind of bother me though. The first one is, that the solutions on Github for the later exercises are not done. So, there’s nothing to compare your own solutions to. The second one is that debugging is moved to the back of the course as an extra, where in fact a beginner will need that as a learning tool to get the exercises done and learn from their mistakes. I found my self often loading my buggy and crashing executables into IDA Pro, to find out what was going on with them.

the explanations are very good, and the pace sufficiently slow so that even a complete beginner can follow. The problem is the strong accent of the instructor, that can make him difficult to understand. The video lectures could be recorded again too, with a better resolution and quality (they are from 2014 I believe).

The course is yet at the beginning, so it is difficult to evaluate. But I liked the explanation about converting base 10 to base 2
