This is a fantastic course. The instructor takes you step by step through, starting your first app in Visual studio using c#, to more advanced topics like working with files and databases. If you have never programmed before, you will have everything you need to write your own (rather complicated) application once you are done. He is thorough and practical. Small note, this focuses more on what code to use to interact with the visual controls (text boxes, file dialogs etc) so this doesn’t dig deep into the language itself. You will learn everything you need to create a business application upto and including for loops, switch statements, operators etc, but c# is extremely complex, so if you want a course that explores advanced coding techniques, then you should probably buy a more specialized course. This also only covers windows programming, and not multi platform development. The instructor does use an older version of visual stuio (2017) but explains the (MINOR) difference in the beginning, and because he explains the process instead of just getting you to click along like a parrot, I didn’t have any problem following along in (2019) For the most part, the two versions are identical. Overall, for what you get, this course is an absolute bargain.
