I dont have any issues with the course actually. it has been almost perfect
Gary Keen –
Comprehensive and in depth well done.

As a beginer in the open systems (yet almost 40 years as a mainframe specialist and a seniour system analyst) I expected to actually be thought everything from the begining. for example: Android studio, how it works, what are its options, etc. then JAVA, we started typing code into thr android studio, used functions and didnt even know that uppercase and lowercase are essential. I had to waste 45 minutes figuring why toast doesnt work and is not found until I noticed its Toast and not oast etc. eventually it teaches, and I have to use my experience which built instincs about computers to be able to really understand. so at this point its a bit frustrating and disappointing however I will be giving it a chance.

Learned a lot

The course is great, though I think that with each successive project the instructions should become more condensed simple things like removing the action bar, expanding elements, and assigning element IDs don’t need their own videos after the first or second project.

Hi, unfortunately this wasn’t the best experience i’ve had, I am a complete beginner entering this course, lucky I did a quick intro to java course before this that was great, really in depth. Here its very fast paced and all over the place, a bit confusing at some stages, not with very much in depth explanation that someone whos learning it for the first time needs, you understand you need too this to get this, but you don’t know why it happens or how it happens. Also took ages to get response on the Q&A section, and when there was eventually was a response it was extremely unclear, still had no idea what to do or where to go. This course is fine if you have a base knowledge of Andriod Studio and java, but as a complete beginner I really would not recommend it. Sorry but have to be honest.

It was ok, this used an older version. I learnt more from the Indian Guy on Youtube.

Course is repetitive. This isn’t the latest version of Android Studio, and a lot has changed, which slowed me down.
