JasperReport should be explained in detail from the java perspective. A lot of things remaining. JasperStudio was sufficient.
Anirban –
Good for beginners to learn Jasperstudio report development.Only basic feature covered. Some more features like usage of scriplet, parameter passing from master report to sub report etc would have been nice to have.

I am more interested in the Studio aspect of Jasper Reports than running command line reports. I will be running reports from the Jasper Reports Server. I did get a lot from the Studio section about the format of reports. I have been trying to setup some reports but didn’t fully understand the process. This will help me with the design of reports. Even though I don’t plan to run any reports from the command line I learned a few things that I might use in the future. Thanks,

So far so good.

I liked the course. But I would like to know more about Jasper Report Server. How we can build report using REST services to JR Server. Also if 2 or 3 real life complex reports examples are taken and executed end to end then the course would be really outstanding. As there are not many Jasper soft tutorial in Udemy, this can be the course which can offer valuable information.

The course covered all items I expected. I just wanted some extra good practice for the Java application creation. Congratulations for creating a course really straight to the point.
Nithesh Rao –
Excellent explanation… However it did not seem like the course covered all the necessary areas of Jaspersoft
Hiroaki Tanaka –
Good! I noticed that date format is not yyyy mm dd, is yyyy MM dd. In Java, mm means minutes.
Martynas Vanagas –
The lecturer didn’t provide any source codes and library jars.
Alvaro Jabre Molina –

More explanation with different test cases will be useful. If it could be more interactive.
