Good course overall except for the fact that usually a course for beginners (in my opinion at least) shouldn’t have libraries in use because beginners shouldn’t need to do projects that require libraries. Here is some feedback for the awesome teacher: Major: In my opinion AT LEAST and as a beginner, I think that courses for beginners should not put libraries to use. There is no point really for a beginner to use someone else’s code. So maybe other projects might of been better. Make a lesson to teach exceptions, how and when to throw them Lesson 23 is poorly made and should be redone and longer for a lesson about properties it is pretty short Minor: Lesson 10 (you attached no document about var types which you said you would) You should have a lesson about good practices for var naming and such (ex: camelCase var naming) Keep it up, awesome work! This course offers some interesting project ideas which you may not think about creating yourself. The course developer is always on hand to answer questions. The pace is good and you will learn a lot in a short space of time. PROs: 1) Interesting project ideas. 2) Course creator is always available to answer questions usually the same day. 3) Introduced to many libraries that might be useful for later projects. 4) Good introduction to creating windows forms applications. 5) Really good SQL refresher course and introduction to MS SQL Server. CONs: 1) Fair amount of copy/paste in lectures. Often have to pause video and copy what’s on screen. Particularly in last couple of projects. 2) Not great description of HOW code works. I’d like to see more explanation of datatypes being used (and why). I’d also like more indepth discussion of the libraries being used. 3) Missing links and extra information which lecture alludes to. 4) Lecturer often says This is somehow easy, assuming the listener understands something with little real explanation. A bit more explanation, less copy/paste and fixing missing links and this would be a 5 star course, for sure. Overall this is a good course. If you’ve finished a beginner / lower intermediate C# course focusing on console apps, perhaps and are looking for something slightly different, this is for you. You’re sure to learn a lot and be introduced to many methods you haven’t come across before.
