Product is rated as #115 in category Python

In the capstone, students will build a series of applications to retrieve, process and visualize data using Python. The projects will involve all the elements of the specialization. In the first part of the capstone, students will do some visualizations to become familiar with the technologies in use and then will pursue their own project to visualize some other data that they have or can find. Chapters 15 and 16 from the book “Python for Everybody” will serve as the backbone for the capstone. This course covers Python 3. The mission of the University of Michigan is to serve the people of Michigan and the world through preeminence in creating, communicating, preserving and applying knowledge, art, and academic values, and in developing leaders and citizens who will challenge the present and enrich the future.

Well packaged and delivered course yet again. Like a Great Teacher, after investing a huge amount of time in teaching fundamentals, Dr. Chuck shared lots of good code for students to go thru thoroughly, understand and start looking at real life examples. This is where the students’ self exploration and learning begins. Thank you Dr. Chuck for being a Great teacher.

Personally, I think I learned relatively little compared to the other courses. It was nice to see a bigger project which combines everything we have learned. But i preferred the other way of learning. Furthermore the whole specialization was very learnful!

The course is organized really well. You climb one step at a time, and in case if you want to run, you can keep completing weekly courses at your pace. This was very fruitful for me as i took this opportunity to build some small programs for my work while i was going through this course. Thank you Dr Chuck 🙂

Well organised and comprehensive coverage. The slides and explications are kept as simple as possible, but yet do not spare out important details a balance that is hard to achieve.

I’m going to be brutally honest… this is not a real capstone course for the beginners.. it just wants us to follow the code and simulate using python3. That’s it. just understanding the code and simulating it, not making our own code. so disappointed. i’m out.

There was no actual coding done in the mandatory assignments. It was running the codes that were already there.
