Good course, only 1 (small) comment. Sometimes (mostly in the beginning of the video) your voice isn’t always that loud to hear, sounds like you’re a bit too far away from the mic. Most of the times, after a few seconds, it looks like your moving closer to the mic and your voice get’s much more clear to hear. Besides that, good course and easy to understand.

As of right now Section 9 This is not a beginner course. Understand if you want to learn the basics about MVC, how it works, what the setup is, perhaps a few ways of understanding asp.net then this is not it. Remember in the description it states beginner to advanced, however, Udemy has it listed as a beginner course. In this course, you will build a great project (so far) with multiple languages that you need to understand already. You will use multiple 3rd party scripts such as SweetAleart, DataTables using jquery, and more. There is so much that the teacher has multiple sections where you will just copy the code and look up what it means on your own if you don’t already know. < I don't recommend doing this, but it is there if you have issues. Is this a bad thing? No, not really Just not a beginner thing. (At least if you are at my beginner level.) I have no hope of coding this on my own at this point, I feel like I understand a bit more about the MVC setup, however, now I wish I understood all these extra parts as well. If your API is jacked up nothing works and so on. How much do you know about interfaces within MVC? You better learn more. Once again, I am happy I am taking this, I am glad to be exposed to this much, however, I spend a great deal of time looking up other information that is already assumed in this class. If you are a beginner then expect it and put in the work don't just copy and paste the code. That is my suggestion. The teacher knows what he is talking about and it shows. I would guess it would be like asking Einstein how gravity works in the universe and expecting him to explain it to you in a on PHD language (yeah good luck with that dream! Lol). I would assume having this as a beginner course is just a bad idea. I will update as I go on if I feel the need too. Hope this helps you understand this course a bit more.

be aware that you may run into issues if you wan to run this app in Docker, the naming conventions of the projects cause issues, dont use a . in the name

An okay course although it would serve much better a beginner if instead of a big project, several mini projects were created, starting from a clean (dotnet new web) slate, introducing gradually controllers with views, APIs, bound properties and then move on to layouts and viewimports, partial views, taghelpers simple and advanced, mvc rendering, components and then move on to scripts and css, security from scratch and eventually repositories and then DB integrations. Several sections presented here (e.g. integrations with Twilio, Stripe, etc) are a nice extra but really you don’t get to learn much of MVC for them. The presentation was decent and engaging but still, a newcomer probably will leave feeling that they need to know a lot more. Plus, the razor project intro is redundant, this is an MVC course, not a razor one.

It’s easy to follow along and these are examples of very useful code and patterns, but I want to learn gain more foundational knowledge around the sections, so adding some background resources on the topics would be helpful so I can be less tied to these specific steps on performing the tasks and more independent with an updated skill set.

This is a great curs.

The project material and concepts covered have been great and well organised. My only complaint is that some of the lines of code written could be explained better. If the instructor said something like, If you do not understand what is happening in this line, you should review this C# material.. at this location… But this is the first time I was not spoonfeeded a course and I needed to keep researching to strenghten my basics, and then the course become really useful. Thank Bhrugen!
