Very nice start and did help clear some point about Parse. But still more sections are missing. It would be nice if a white board showing the data base Class and the case when relationforeign Keys among Tables is explained and how Table data can be optimised for example how to compress a photo before uploading to database. Part 2 of this course is a MUST. Best regards

The instructor explains every topic very clear so it is easy to use even for a new iOS Developer. The course also includes a section from where you can learn the basics of Swift. I highly recommend this course!

This course is very useful to understand Parse basic concepts. Valsamis shows them clearly with simple codes, you can get them without some headache of Swift UI in a short time.

Overall, this is a very good course and I would recommend it. I am still struggling to get in app purchases to work (think this is an Apple thing) and the programmable notification is not working (instructor is trying to help). If you are a Swift beginner, this course can be difficult to follow at times. For example, once you start building the ‘real’ app, the instructor goes silent as he clicks around all over the place to set up screens very quickly with no explanation. It would have been great if he just used the Page based Application template to avoid all the custom created screens. 4 stars for a great overall training program and a responsive instructor. Here are the two reasons I did not give it 5 stars: The instructor has you create your own code, then for each new lecture has you work in the same project and delete the code you wrote earlier. This is not conducive to learning or retaining material for future reference. Learn from my experience and create a new project for each activity until you start writing the ‘real’ application. A critical element of iOS programming is to work with data when the device does not have a connection (or has a slow connection). Understanding how to sync online and offline data and consistently sharing best practice to working offline were lacking. A key thing I was hoping to walk away from this class with was how do I sync data when offline and on multiple databases but do not feel I quite got there. At least I know the general approach and can read the Parse documentation a little better now though.

Is one of the best courses that I ever take. Because you learn the powerful of parse in your app, what app is useful without parse? This course change all.. take it. Ah, the instructor is excellent. He help us when you need, he answer your messages and always is available for us. Thanks Valsamis

Great course to get started using Parse with iOS. If you are looking for the basics on how to use Parse this course is for you. You will learn all the needed concepts to use Parse in your iOS Swift apps. You can easily expand on what you learn from the course. Highly recommended.

I have been planning to get my hand dirty with swift but I don’t want to set up everything on my own. With parse, it is much easier to get app running with real work flow. The tutorial itself is very well organized. Most importantly it cut off a lot of unnecessary syntax intro and jump into coding. It is really a time saver.

I like the tutor, he is straight to the point and explaining things only when it is necessary. The reason I didn’t give 5 star is u can definitely improve the video quality… Other than that, wowsommeee!!!
