MASTER DATA SCIENCE, TEXT MINING AND NATURAL LANGUAGE PROCESSING IN R:
Learn to carry out pre–processing, visualization and machine learning tasks such as: clustering, classification and regression in R. You will be able to mine insights from text data and Twitter to give yourself & your company a competitive edge.
LEARN FROM AN EXPERT DATA SCIENTIST WITH +5 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE:
My name is Minerva Singh and I am an Oxford University MPhil (Geography and Environment) graduate. I recently finished a PhD at Cambridge University (Tropical Ecology and Conservation).
I have several years of experience in analyzing real life data from different sources using data science related techniques and producing publications for international peer reviewed journals. Over the course of my research I realized almost all the R data science courses and books out there do not account for the multidimensional nature of the topic and use data science interchangeably with machine learning.
This gives students an incomplete knowledge of the subject. Unlike other courses out there, we are not going to stop at machine learning. We will also cover data mining, web–scraping, text mining and natural language processing along with mining social media sites like Twitter and Facebook for text data.

issues with preloaded datasets not being covered
Ronald Gik –
innovative and useful method.
Reggie John –
Very well put together data science course
Anil Kumar Pandey –
Useful for me. Very knowledgeable program.
Sunny Lamba –
Kind of slow for people with prior knowledge of image processing. But I suppose absolute beginners will benefit from having a detailed overview
Posey Parker –
Its a very information dense course on data mining
sushma Pandey –
Knowledgeable and informative
Maureen –
well explained
Irfan Chaudry –
Very mechanical course that only teaches you how to run different codes in R without giving any detailed explanations on how and why different input values in different algorithms impact these algorithms and how the algorithms work.
Lucas Rex –
Perfectly explained for beginners. I wanted a structured course for a long time and finally found one.

1) The Course coverage is good as its touched upon all critical concepts of data analytics. 2) This course is not meant for students who does not have any previous experience in data Analytics 3) The way things are explained are not clear enough, most of the time things are simply getting read from doc/ppt and no clear explanation given in why it is used and what the best industry practices around it. 4) Most of the time code implementation touched upon the use of too many packages which is confusing for someone new to R and analytics. At times it it will be better to explain only the best efficient way to achieve it with 1 or 2 examples. 5) Course design is absolutely pathetic, there is no provision to practice real time case studies. Quizz questions are not upto the mark (like asking what was the value of the in the previous example, which is pathetic as even if we are taking notes we will definitely not going to take note on the outcome of the code). 6) Video quality sometime going blur.

There could have been more information about the Data Mining & Natural Language Processing in R. Really enjoyed the course. Really nice and comprehensive course!
Maik Prothmann –
examples and files are not in a good structure. The video of course 58 does not fit together with the presented content. No voice o at the end of course 59. Overall it is a good overview of the topics DM and NLP in R
Hia Sumaiya –
Content is good and well explained in simpler way so its easy to understand. I believe no one could explain such a detailed way! Thanks a lot!

Excellent resource for learning data mining & natural language. It is truly valuable. I wish there were more practice problems during the course. Thank you for such great course!
Neamul Ishak –
Great course & lots to learn in this course! The sessions are very very easy to understand. Resources are very good. Really enjoyed!
Gaurav Jain –
Instructor is less bothered about really teaching you something but just wrapping up quickly the topics she has to cover.
Greta Wong –
A lot of data mining
Elton Pillay –
Course could be more direct. Some users might not understand the point or principles of variables. The introduction could be on the required programs and purpose of it. To some it up, keep it short and sweet.
KM Maurya –
The course is very valuable for my work and has immense potential for its useful applicability. the instructor has a fantastic way to bring home various aspects of the contents of the course.
