New lectures added periodically to the course.
In this course you will learn how to develop games using Godot and its own scripting language: GDScript. We will start by learning how to use the language and keep moving on until we learn how to export and publish our games, this way you’ll not only learn how to create 2D and 3D games, but also how to share them.
Godot is an awesome open source engine that gives us the ability to create awesome 2D and 3D games and export them to the Web, Linux, Windows, OSX, Android and iOS with a single code base! Since its open source release, the engine keeps gaining space and grows more each day. Right now is an awesome time to learn this new engine and grow with it!
This course is based on projects, this way you won’t just learn how to use the functionalities provided to us by Godot, but also apply them on complete games. At the end of most modules, you’ll be given assignments so you can overcome problems on your own and apply what you’ve learned thought out all of the modules.
All of the code and the projects created on the lectures are hosted on github repositories, this allows you to jump to any lecture by just downloading the project of the lecture and start from there, and compare your code to mine if you get stuck.

Haven’t gotten too far yet, but seeing someone explain in a calm, simple and direct manner helps wonders!

the audio quality is really insulting within each chapter he gets more and more impatient and starts to hurry that it gets harder and harder to follow when it comes to explanations he has no idea how to so he stutters around after 5 chapters personally I start hating this guy alltogether the quality is like a kid with a youtube channel and has nothing to do with a real lecture 2 stars because it is still informative

Absolutely great! Straight to the point and very detailed! I have learned a lot from this course so I can make my own indie game that I have always dreamed of making!

This course was excellent. I learned a lot from it. I’d taken a course from another instructor before this that was utterly disappointing. This course turned me around on everything. It was engaging from the beginning and I appreciated how it wasn’t watered down or boring. It covers both 2D and 3D development. I found that a lot of what was learned in the 2D sections applied in many ways to the 3D section. Just about everything I wanted to cover was in this course. One thing that was missing that I hope the instructor will add in the future is how to monetize our Godot games. He touches on it somewhat with itch.io and gamejolt but I was hoping for some information on how to add adds to my game or add in game purchases. If this instructor develops a more advanced course I will certainly take that course from him as well.

The pace of this course was pleasing to me. I enjoyed the steady flow of new ideas being presented in a just in time fashion. I Learned a lot of helpful things about Godot.
Troy Nall –
its good, but i really wanted to learn how to add menus and setup menus and difficulty settings menu and so forth. you learn how to make games that you can expand upon BUT for me, I wanted to build a completely polished game from start to finish(including menus, monetization etc…)
Warren Williams –

Jaydn Trost –
There was allot of commands not explained in depth
Stefan –
Author do not provide proper explanation for all the ideas he present. There are moments when he writes a code without explaining in details what is the idea behind it.
Atrocious Velociraptor –
Its good, the instructor has explained game development in godot well and seems quite knowledgeable.

Good at the beginning, but the further you get in this courses you get fewer explanations. You just write what the insctructor write on screen without knowing why.
