What this course covers:

It was a nice course which gives us insight about the concepts of hibernate. The trainer has in depth knowledge of the course and is able to fulfill the learning requirement. Since I am from non IT background it becomes difficult to learn from internet so I prefer Udemy course which has everything pretty much arrange into a full fledged course. The learning curve becomes easy with an organised approach. I highly recommend the course to anyone who is quickly looking to get an insight about hibernate and use it in their projects. I am also looking forward to other courses from the same author.

I am new to this subject just have some introductory knowledge of java. I took this course to explore my interest. The instructor knowledge is above my expectations. And the course is explained from the basics. Especially the installation of software is explained in a very elaborate manner. Kudos to the instructor for making such a complex topic in a simple manner!!!

So far, I am able to follow and implement everything. I found some other Hibernate udemy courses not as helpful. The explanations Reshma gives are at the perfect level of detail provides background and context without bringing in other topics that add confusion. I’m excited about this class. On the JPA criteria portions, it is not clear to me why there are Hibernate interfaces and methods used (import org.hibernate.*). I thought it would all be javax.persistence.* at this point.

Altogether a nice course, which gives you an overview of main features of Hibernate. Doesn’t go too much into details nor it explains how things work under the hood. A little bit mechanic and repetetive style of the lecturer at times, but the overall experience was good and I have the feeling I learnt the basics of Hibernate. Thanks.
