I’ve completed the entire course. These are the pros and cons as I see it. First, would I try another one of his courses? Yes I would. Below are the PROS and CONS. PROS Videos are short (typically around 10 min) He provides source code Android project file structure is organized He responds to user questions in a timely fashion Course is pretty up to date at the time of writing this review CONS He doesn’t always record in a quiet area and sometimes has notifications on. Distracting and annoying. You get the feeling that he’s just recording the course on the fly and not really planning it out ahead of time. He does quite a bit of back tracking which gets pretty annoying when you’re following him closely. For much of the course, even with player and PC audio at full, voice can be kind of low. Needs to enunciate words clearer sometimes In the most literal sense, he is an instructor. He is mostly telling you what to do. Not much explanation on why you’re doing it and what it all means. So, learning is lacking in that regard. His lesson length is strictly length based. It isn’t goal/topic based. I don’t want a video to cut off in the middle because it’s reaching the 10 min mark. I want it to cut off after we’ve completed the next goal, subgoal, etc because it disrupts the lesson flow. If the video needs to be cut off sooner than the goal is accomplished, then devise a smaller goal to accomplish in that amount of time. I think that’s all i can think of for now. If this course wasn’t up to date, it would not have been 4 stars. I probably wouldn’t have reviewed it. But, I’ve taken a lot of courses that are not up to date and so I couldn’t finish it if I tried to keep it updated. Would force me to complete the course with out of date dependencies. One other thing about this course, you will have a lot of practice with RecyclerViews, ViewHolders, and Adapters. That practice was pretty valuable to me.

Really good course if you want to work with recycler views and adapters. but there some parts that been skipped out like size buttons and the reviews and I wished if there part about how you can be apply to publish the app in the Google Play. Thank you.
