Hi and welcome to the HTML/CSS Bootcamp course, where we’ll walk through the same course I teach code bootcamp students around the world. My name is Jordan Hudgens, and I’ll be your instructor for the course. In addition to being the lead instructor for devCamp I’ve also been building web applications for over a decade for organizations such as Eventbrite and Quip.

I have only followed about 15 lessons, but I like the way this course is built up. Starting from scratch and building up to more advanced styling tips. For now, I’m following along with the course to build a similar website, but it would be nice to have some extra tasks or some short questions, to see if a learner understands the topics that have been discussed.

Doing a project and learning the principles as you go is fantastic. Not once did I feel bored or frustrated. I just wish the tutor had a JavaScript course as I would do that too. For the first time, HTML and CSS made sense to me. Well done chap!

great going till this point. Explainations are easy to follow and the pace is good with strong focus on fundamentals. I really liked the way content is delivered with the final result shown so you exactly know how each concept is leading towards reaching the final goal.

Like many others, I was here for the flexbox, which was explained very well, but I learned a lot more. The structure of the course at the moment is a bit weird. You start with building this slick webpage to find yourself being introduced to the basics of HTML and CSS when this project is finished, that is after the first 60 videos or so. For absolute beginners I would recommend to start there and come back to the beginning afterwards I assume this project was added later to the initial course. The projects at the end of the course are a nice challenge. In the last project Bootstrap is addressed. This could have been spread out a bit more, but is enough to get you going. Great course!
