If you’re an iOS user then I can almost guarantee you’ve used a table view at least once today. UITableView is one of the most commonly used classes in iOS applications and with their speed and flexibility it’s easy to see why!
Just take a look at Facebook, WhatsApp, Gmail, iOS notifications, Settings, Podcasts, Netflix, Amazon and so on and so on… they feature prominently in the vast majority of iOS applications. With this in mind, you would think they are easy to learn and well documented but, until now, this wasn’t the case.
Current tutorials are littered with incomplete information and lack best practices. This course takes you through the ins and outs of UITableView and you’ll come out of it confidently creating world class table views!

Yegor Butyrin –
The course was good overall, but i’ve expected more rare/interesting hacks and tricks with UITableViews. Roughly 70 80% of information presented here were already familiar to me.

Excellent course, with sections for Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced. Well designed videos.
Alfred Schilken –
There are too many repetitions of trivial preparations, eben in the intermediate and pro section.

There is a lot of content in this course. Reviewing lessons made this clear to me. It is presented in an engaging and enthusiastic manner; I learned a lot from the Titan of tableViews.
Douglas Hartman –
Excellent so far
Don Sleeter –
Methodical.

Ben Sullivan’s UITableViewCourse is definitely worth completing as you will learn much more than table views. If you are willing to experiment a little, you will also learn more about Xcode and even how to make your custom objects appear in Interface Builder! Questions are usually answered promptly. Course materials are very useful and they will also assist you in learning the subject with far more depth than might be expected. The videos are very personable and professional and definitely leave you feeling that the course was made especially for you. The techniques explored here will certainly ignite the creative fuse within. Nice work!

Absolutely amazing course, goes into depth with tableview. It does start at making the tableview from scratch every time, but that is an advantage, because it will make sure you know it. All of the tricks, and setting it up as an extension and explanation on just this small topic, is beyond what I have seen at other places. You even see the troubleshooting when there is a mistake, how to play around with animations, and this also set the course apart from the rest, its not flawless (and this is good), it shows the actually faults made during the programming and why this happened. If you are running the latest Xcode this course is still valid, there is a few things, that is different, but they are minor and easy to correct since Xcode make suggestions to the changes.

This covered everything I didn’t know about table views and wanted to know, and things I didn’t even know could be done. Well recommended!

I’ve been writing Swift code for a while now, but this course contains small details that I’ve overlooked even at the beginner level!
