This course has been really great at explaining very clearly and in depth so that I could really develop my understanding of java rather than just learn what to do without the understanding to develop my skills further. There are some really good coding exercises which really help to put what you learn to practice. Very detailed and comprehensive course broken down into manageable steps.
Mark Juiryes –
These questions really helped me prepare for the exam for which I received 80%. The explanations for each question are so helpful and taught me a lot of detail that the course itself did not. Thank you so much!
Sarah Willems –
So all we learned was how to output a message on the screen. Don’t see much value in that. Why does the package name and the class name need to be the same? Did you open netbeans to start this coding? What does string and arg mean after the main statement?

This course is maybe the best for learning Java by doing, with very explanatory messages and step–by–step examples. I recommend this course, especially if the learner is a beginner in Java or wants to cover basic and advanced programming concepts like object oriented programming, polymorphism etc. This course is a 5–star because it has many useful examples.
Frank Staggidis –
I’m just learning Object Oriented Programming, and Java, but I was having a hard time marrying my understanding of variables and instances into classes and objects, but this course has been extremely helpful in enhancing my understanding of the purpose of a class and what an object is and how all of these things work together. The instructor possesses a good understanding of what he’s presenting, and the recording is very easy to understand and not distracting.

The instructor gives great detail on the most basic fundamentals. I never had an intro to Java course. I went from procedural programming, a decade or two ago, right in to intermediate Java courses. This really helped fill in the missing foundation.
John Jackon –
5 stars for sure! Great in every lecture!
