John James –
My first impression is the pace is very slow and the English is very redundant. However he is answering questions I had about javafx, so it is worth watching.
Patarapol Withayasakpunt –
Very good, but the accent of the speaker. Can’t do anything about it, anyway.
Phillip Harmston –
Talks way to fast.
Giancarlo Forino –
Mi sembra un ottimo docente per ora, peccato per la velocit del suo inglese maccheronico. I sottotitoli automatici hanno serie difficolt ad interpretarlo.
Mohammed Nisar Shah –
Pace is good, easy to follow

Excellent course. I know Java, AWT, Swing and this was a good intro to FX. Towards the end, I was getting frustrated on all of the layout you need to write and then… Scenebuilder! Pro: I am joining a desktop team and I expect to go in on day one and understand (and contribute to) the GUI. Con: The pace was slow. Not really an issue, I could skip ahead when he’s, for example, installing software. Aside: turn on the captioning. It’s done automatically and pretty funny to see like Fx get transcribed six different ways in one sentence.

This course is very good for beginners. He explains even basic programming concepts, in case you don’t have a lot of programming experience.

You can tell instructor did not rehearse towards the creation of the videos; he repeats himself over and over the same unimportant points. Also, there are no proper English captions to the videos which makes it a challenge sometimes to understand some parts.
ahin Atam –
