The content of the course is excellent but the instructor does not pause between sentences and keeps talking non–stop like a robot. I think this is due not only to his speaking style but also due to how the videos are edited. There needs to be at least 1–2 second pause between sentences where important concepts are delivered (so everywhere). There is far too often not enough time to process what the instructor is saying which means I get lost far too often and have to reun the video over and over again just to understand a key concept. I thought the aussie accent would be a problem for me but I was able to get used to it quickly. Tim has a fun teaching style and you can tell he loves programming. I am enjoying the course but it is very fast paced. Bring your A game to this course folks!

Being able to ask questions and have them answered as well as having a pre–existing source of answers makes it easier to tackle challenging source code. Its very efficient and personally I think it allows the student to become a lot more efficient when doing the tutorials or practicals.

I have only started the course, it seems well explained. Once I have gone through the course further I will update my score. I rate this course good so far, clear presentation, good video and sound quality.

I am an intermediate level python user, so most of this material isn’t too new, but I do appreciate the level of detail applied to the conceptual aspects of things like types.

The way you say, the way you teach, and the way you remind us that we are in a good rated teacher’s class.

So far it seems good. I’ve not actually got to programming content though. But I appreciate the quality of the videos so far which bodes well I think.
Carlos Collao Rubio –
For now, everything is ok.

The course is great. Extensive scope. Well explained. The only minor drawback I noticed is that sometimes new topics are introduced with previous code and it’s hard to follow on the newly introduced stuff. E.g. Java IO the video where FileWriter is introduced, Tim refers back a lot on the Locations class he made before and it’s therefore hard to focus on what FileWriter is really about. I think simpler examples would have been better when introducing new material. Other than that, great course! 🙂

I enjoy this course because it has some challenging assignments for me to practice coding. The teacher explains the course materials with details, and I have enrolled into other courses taught by him. He is a great teacher.
