Java 8 brought a lot great new features to the table. A lot people say, the community was late in bringing these features, but what often people dont realise is that brought these new features late but what they did exceptionally well was to implement them better than anyone and give us developers a wonder API to use, and one of the them was the Stream API.
Before Java we wrote a lot code for simple logic and yet we could get it wrong very easily. Well this is not the case with Java 8 in particulate with Streams. With Streams we focus on coding and deliver what we indent rather than thinking of how we are going to code the logic to do what we intend. Streams focuses on the ALL instead of the PARTS. Streams not only focuses on the ALL but it also allows us to write functional style programming, and this is what makes Streams and the Java programming language very attractive to developers.
This course is packed with awesome sections that will take you the journey from from zero to hero. You will learn and understand what I call the

I was looking out for something in detail about java 8 but this tutorial serves the purpose of knowing the use cases and is pretty basic in nature

Good course, I like that it’s focused on a specific topic and not on Java 8 as a whole. In my opinion course is targeted at more experienced developers, videos are short but content can be a bit intimidating/complex. Maybe I missed something but I struggled a bit to get your github url. Great course. Thank you.

If it is the first time that you want to learn about streams, it is very useful, because it is very practical, the speed is adequate to understand if you do not speak perfect English and they are short but super practical and useful exercises, I love it

Topics that could have explained more: Function, bi function, producer and consumer. Also, nothing on parallel stream and it’s working.

The content is well explained but I was expecting some more complex streams. However, if you’re looking for the very basics of Streams, this is definitely a good choice!

Liked the concept of Data Generation and then working through the data using latest Streams tool box. Course could have been more comprehensive if explanation of individual methods had been more descriptive. Parallel Streams seems to be missing. But overall it’s a good quick walk through of Streams if you are attempting an interview.
