The material is dated. It was probably very good when it was released and I have no issue with the instructor. The downloaded software required, OpsWorks, only works with the enterprise/commercial version of Cassandra. There were other items that were out of date and I was able to work through them. I am not buying a very expensive software package to continue however.

Course try to cover material for 40h and that concludes in a very complicated material, no time for explanation or understanding. It will be very good for programmers with good general knowlegde about databases, SQL and js it woud give them good brief of Cassandra with no time wasted for explanations of simple parts. For me it wasn’t something I was looking for > CQL. Only very basic commands better read some blog article than buy this course.
