In this class, you will learn absolutely everything necessary to land a job as an entry level PLC technician (engineer, etc.).

We will cover basic topics such as what a PLC is used for, how it is able to receive and process Inputs & Outputs. We will take a much deeper dive with hands on labs and practice sessions during which I will give you specific real world scenarios to work with and give you tips and common pitfalls. These lessons are designed to strengthen your knowledge of PLCs and give you an edge during interviews.

At the end of each section, you will face a quiz which will allow you to test yourself on the material you have learned before moving to the next section. As some one who has administered interviews to PLC technicians, these questions are crucial in making sure that you’ve understood the material presented.

There is very little instruction/assisting documentation on installing the software required to follow along with the course.

Almost perfect…. I m a computer programmer of 30 years and I am familiar with PLCs, electrical, and well versed on programming lingo, and have electronics/electrical background, so this is paced perfectly for me. For the true beginner with no computer, electrical, or PLC exposure, this is gonna move waaayyyy too fast. It s going to be a lot of pausing and looking stuff up. Not that that is a bad thing this is exactly how I learned everything I know about computers, networking and programming. For some, it may be a challenge.

the instructor uses software version different than the one he gave us, so he got more features than me ; i can’t apply what he is doing because my software doesn’t support it in the HMI section, he doesn’t tell us how to open and how to use the HMI. he goes straight to tags the instructor doesn’t answer the questions very bad deal and i should get a refund …..
