Instructor Details

I began this whole journey through art. When in high school I developed a very strong interest in drawing and 2D animation. From there I began to get enveloped into the work of 3D. After Graduating High school I attended the Art Institute of Seattle. There I gained my AA degree in Computer animation. I interned at Surreal Software, then moved onto working on the very first version of Xbox at Microsoft. I worked on NFL fever 2000, NHL Rivals 2002, and Inside Drive. From there I have worked at Activision, again at Microsoft, my own companies Creative TD and Ozone Interactive, and am now exploring Interactive Arts experiences at Indie Pixel. There have been many things along the way but my love is in 3D, real-time arts, shaders, procedural content creation, math, modeling, texturing, and helping others through teaching.

Very nice course, that navigates you through Houdini procedural modelling into Painter. Picked up a lot from it!

I have done both Kenny’s courses and I’m glad I did. With Ammo Crate, I learned not only more about procedural methods and digital assets but I got a grip on Substance Painter as well. Thanks again Kenny, I look forward to your next course.

An excellent course thank you! It s not for total beginners as it s very fast paced, but it s a good speed if you have a bit of modeling experience. I didn t understand the hires video, but followed along and hope to catch that in subsequent tutorials.

Really cool one. With a full Unity / Unreal integration of the digital asset I would call it perfect.

Excellent course, everything is very clearly explained and fantastic to get an understanding of the flow from Houdini to Substance. It follows on very well from IP’s vehicle modelling course, perfect combination of repetition to reinforce some of the core concepts plus some the introduction of some invaluable new techniques.

Concepts for procedural modeling were laid out in an understandable manner. The processes taught in the course are not limiting and outside concepts/methods are easily blended with the material taught in this course. I have been wanting to learn procedural modeling to build off of my current knowledge of Houdini but couldn’t find any quality modeling courses until this one. Definitely worth the money/time and will be looking into more of his courses.

Sprecher hat meiner Meinung nach zu schnell gesprochen. Pers nlich fand ich es ein wenig unstrukturiert. Speaker spoke too quickly, in my opinion. Personally, I found it a little unstructured.

This course is allowing me to create my personal stuff I was hoping it could benefit from a procedural approach. And after each chapter, I feel more confident in putting my own take in it. I highly recommend it!

I recommend this course to anyone that is getting in houdini. This was a great tutorial but it was very fast for someone that was just beginning with Houdini. I learned alot, i was able to keep up with the last few videos. There were some parts like when you said you could export using the file node but didn’t show it, which confused me but i found it myself by playing around so not that bad.

This course is really fun and quick. If you are new to Houdini check out the instructors free ‘Dropship’ course first which is a bit more beginner friendly
