Want to learn Python on the job  whilst building an exciting course project? This course is for you!

This is a highly practice–oriented Python course that teaches you Python from scratch – no prior programming experience required!

Python is probably THE most trending programming language you can learn these days!

It’s very popular because it’s easy to learn and use, runs on all operating systems and allows you to build a broad variety of programs: Be that web applications, desktop applications, utility scripts or using it for data science and machine learning.

In this course, you’ll learn Python from scratch – and you’ll do so whilst building your own Blockchain and Cryptocurrency. These are of course also highly trending topics and not a lot of people understand what a Blockchain really is. As a nice side–effect, you will know how a Blockchain works once you completed this course. It’s an exciting course project that allows you to learn and apply Python to something you know and you can use.

Why Python?

As written above, Python is both easy–to–use and extremely versatile and powerful at the same time. Certainly not the worst combination. If you check it on Google trends (and compare it to other programming languages), you’ll see that it’s very popular these days.

Instructor gets going a little fast toward the end, hard to keep up if you are typing along.

Really enjoyed the course and liked that it took a project from start to finish. I got a little lost in the Network Chapter, but that could be because I wasn’t as interested in that aspect of the project, but it was laid out very well and learned a ton.

  7. Duncan Snaith

He explains the blockchain concepts, but the example project Max builds is badly organised and structured. The application is not cleanly coded and he goes through much of this very quickly. Anyone who has no previous experience with coding, they would find this difficult to follow. This course could be a lot shorter while still covering all the main topics if the application was structured better.

quite some bugs that don’t get addressed until later, and not clean code. also, the entire code is never in sight (often not even the entire line), so it is difficult to follow along since you lack any sort of overview.

I have started with Tim Bulichek(??mispelled) on Udemy python master class. He did not include the repl >>>. Started with IntelliJ. Intellij does not support flask. OK knowledge on lists, and data structures. I did the Qazi class on python full stack development class. He really does not know python that well. Or django either. He wants you to follow along and build a cookie cutter type app. But he did introduce me to Anvil, which is fine. I did HeadFirst Python. It is a bit outdated. Chapter 7 on MySQL has too many errors. Spent too long on that. I want to know blockchain stuff. I am so happy I am here. Very good lessons so far. I like Max

Instructor is good and entertaining. I think that if the instructor could slow down in his rate of speech just a bit and not introduce the mode ‘w’ or mode ‘r’ so quickly or explain what that actually means, it may make students feel more comfortable (?). Just sayin’.
