Sound Good

Yes, I’m totally new to RESTful Web services and Spring/Spring boot. So far it is very useful to know the basic concepts as well as how to organize classes into packages. So far I’m a bit confused about the @Autowired annotation and I need to look it up on google. Hopefully it would be clearer in the upcoming videos.

Excellent course, love it

Really helped me prepare for an interview that required me to develop a REST backend service. Was not at all overwhelmed by the task. This course is really awesome. Please make updates. Java has changed a lot, as has Spring Boot, some of this tutorials diverge a bit from the current status quo.

Good detailed explanation… Liked it so far…

This is an excellent course. At first I was a little concerned because I thought it was too advanced but I went back and did a little refresher of my spring hibernate knowledge and when i came back to this course it made more sense and I realized that Sergey actually did explain but I just didn’t catch it because my knowledge was rusty. I highly recommend this course to anyone. I’m a udemy instructor myself so I know th efforts it takes to put together so much valuable knowledge that Sergey has provided. Thanks man!!

Very informative

So far so good.

The Role explores a wide variety of topics and working on an implementation side by side, helps with the learning. My only gripe with the course is the depth of explanation. While explaining methods and annotations a little in depth explanation of what spring does behind the scenes and how it works will help us understand and debug our code better. But on the flipside, the instructor is very prompt in answering your questions so feel free to fire away.

You put the Annotation Service, but you do not explain the annotation, what is it, why is it being used, would @Component annotation work too ? Why do we use the Service annotation.
Peter Marshall –
Lots of info here and no filler. Very happy and money well spent.
Olusola Odurinde –

Great course for Spring Boot beginners
Bilge Tekkursun –
It was a good match about the topics but he doesn’t explain all the things as he should.
Sanket Jadhav –
excellent course

I was expecting the instructor to give an introduction to the course, the course overview, pre requisites in the first video. I’m a bit confused when I see that the first video is the instructor showing how to download postman. It gives me very little context about the course

A lot of time is wasted trying to configure everything to install, whose indications are outdated or wrong. For example, the deployment of war in Tomcat in Windows does not work and none of its explanations or other users clarify absolutely nothing; I have that part unfinished. For example, the deployment part in Amazon Web Service is impossible to configure because it is completely out of date, there is no way to install MySQL. The objective of the course is to learn RESTfull Web Services, not Amazon Web Service. I’m very disappointed. 02/18/2021 Is it necessary to get so complicated to send an email to validate an email account? In my opinion it is not the objective of this course. With so much time spent on these Amazon topics, I am not learning RESTfull web services well. I am a bit disappointed, but I am finishing this course because my company ordered it.
