Welcome to this course: Rhino3D – The Complete Guide (incl. Grasshopper). Rhinoceros is a commercial 3D computer graphics and computer–aided design (CAD) application software. It is used in processes of computer–aided design (CAD), computer–aided manufacturing (CAM), rapid prototyping, 3D printing and reverse engineering in industries including architecture, industrial design, product design as well as for multimedia and graphic design. Grasshopper is a visual programming language and environment that runs within the Rhinoceros 3D computer–aided design (CAD) application. Programs are created by dragging components onto a canvas. The outputs to these components are then connected to the inputs of subsequent components.

This is a very well made course on the ins and outs of Grasshopper. It is poorly named; there’s very little work done in Rhino proper. It’s more like The Complete Guide to Grasshopper.

I think that this course is a smooth first step for those who want to get started with Rhino Grasshopper. I would have liked it to go deeper not in the explanation of the different components but rather in the insistence of the way of thinking, presenting and solving situations, the logic behind Grasshoper.
