Ruby On Rails series – MVP – Case study – Warehouse

This course is essential – and strongly recommended – for those who already are using Ruby On Rails professionally and want to use the MVP as a strategy to test the viability of a product, reduce risks and also ensure the success of many other projects. 

One of the best ways to learn is through a case study. A case study is a research method involving an up–close examination of a particular case.

In this course, we are going to create a hotel’s warehouse management system using Active Admin gem, Devise gem, CanCanCan gem, and SQLite. We will use the MVP as a prototype to validate the project’s feasibility and guarantee its success. In other words, all necessary functionalities for testing inside a small package can help you reach the idea of the final project.

Programming might make you feel like a Rockstar, but if you really want to play with the cool kids, you should know that there’s more to the process than just writing the code.   

What is a case study?

A case study is an in–depth study of one person, group, or event. In a case study, nearly every aspect of the subject’s life and history is analyzed to seek patterns and causes of behavior. Case studies can be used in a variety of fields including psychology, medicine, education, anthropology, political science, and social work. The hope is that learning gained from studying one case can be generalized to many others.
