This course is for those who wants to add material design aspects to their android apps. The concepts given by the instructor is very informative and it’s fun to learn. There should have been some more advanced features of material design but this course will cover the basics. I am satisfied by this course.

I did another course from Udemy on Complete Android Development but while that had the ‘coding’ part of the app, it lacked the visual aspects. I believe that this course has made me a well rounded android developer. As for the course itself, it’s a little outdated. The instructors voice is monotonous, and he rarely explains ‘why’ he is doing what he’s doing, and instead focuses on ‘what’ he is doing. After completing some initial sections, a majority will feel like repetition with one or two changes here and there. In short, it’s so repetitive that you can actually predict what the instructor is going to do before he does it. I, personally, did 5 6 sections in one go, and would have finished the course within a day if I wasn’t bored with repetitive stuff and predictable instructions. However, in the end, I cannot deny the fact that I have learnt a lot. I am no longer unconfident about the designing part of apps. Therefore, I think the money I spent was indeed useful. One advice I’d like to give to the new enrolees or the ones thinking to enrol This course is not for you if you want to make an app that does a certain job like playing video, setting alarms, making a platform to chat etc. This course is for those who probably already know that and now they want to know how to make their apps more aesthetically pleasing, new types of layouts and features that will make your job easier. A big thank you to the instructor who tried his best teaching and helping new developers like myself.
