I looked at a lot of VB.Net and C# courses on Udemy because I’m trying to become a self taught developer. In contrast to other courses, Musavi focuses on projects, hands on practice, and real world applications, in addition to theory, syntax and procedures. In this course you get a very clear instructions on what to do. You won’t get lost in the code because each video picks up from the last video so you get a complete explanation of each step. This rating is for his VB course but I also took the C# course and the number of topics covered is very broad. You should also look at his other courses after completing the basic courses because he teaches about very specific enterprise level applications that would look very good on your portfolio and perhaps help you get a job as software engineer.

I had some general issues at the mere beginning; like sometimes the course says it’s for C#, or that the accent of professor is a little bit hard to understand in the first glance, or that he gets in too much details for starting to program. However, when you get used to the accent, and you travel through all the first chapters you understand a *very* important technique this professor has: he wraps you within the *real* experience of a programmer; that is, all the real troubles you face, from common issues of the Visual Studio platform itself, to errors solving, internet searching for solutions, tricks for avoiding common mistakes, adapting to multi languages basic syntax, etc… With all these… yes, it is exhaustive to see each detail, but you’ll appreciate it after the course prepares you when you have to start doing all the stuff by yourself. I’m pretty pleased with this course: thanks 🙂
