Kim Nyegaard Andreasen –
Eventhough a styling session could be learned from a React course, I was still missing it in this course. In general this was a very good course. It is definitely recommended!
David Cruwys –
Halfway through, but this course is clear, concise and very relavant to me
Martin Kristensson –
A fast paced and concise yet simple course. Easy to follow, although I do wish Reed has demonstrated the charging process as it’s not working. I still recommend it if you want to learn how to set up Gatsby e commerce project.

A very good starting point for Gatsby. No fluff and straight to the point. I would suggest you have some basic knowledge of React and GraphQL before you take it though.
Siva Kumar –
Excellent course. No chit chat but straight to the topic. I think we have covered most of the stuff that gatsby offers and from here I can explore more. Thanks a ton to create this course.

Really good tutorial if you want to learn GatsbyJS and GraphQL. I suggest that you try out this course if you already have a technical background, or if you already know ReactJS. The pace is really fast (exactly what I was looking for), but I’m not so sure that would work out for real beginners. Otherwise, I like it and it’s more than what I was looking for! (PS. I particularly like the more in depth tutorial on GraphQL.)

While the course does have a few pieces of useful knowledge to share, it, overall, lacks explanation and feels more like a code along rather than a deeper explanation where it is needed. For example, for the videos involving the Gatsby Node file. It would have been more helpful if time was spent explaining how to make use of this file to extend Gatsby. What I felt I got, instead, was a bunch of videos with boiler plate being added and not enough explanation given.

sometimes not much explanation, for example the gatsby node and gatsby config file, not understanding the login, i just can follow to next step and you must need some basic knowledge about react and es6 first in order to take this course

I’m using a newer version of node, and path.resolve() isn’t used any more. It’s just require.resolve() for these last two videos. Otherwise good.
Arun Subramanian –
Another best course from Reed. Enjoyed it.
Uwe Kristen –
Well structured course, every step is fully explained.
Christopher Maiser –
Slow down, dude

Instructor has a thorough, deep understanding of the subject area. The course is a gentle introduction which touches on several key technologies you should consider using with your Gatsby sites. The course would benefit by including code for each section for those of us who code along with the instructor. The final code is much more evolved than the section you may be seeking guidance on. Overall, I would like to see the course go deeper, or perhaps a sequel that drills into more Gatsby Plugins, Headless CM and Snipcart.
