The course is good but one can see that the instructor hasnt prepared for the course because he kept making a small mistakes and completely forgot adding music and sound effect to the game but overall i have learned a lot of stuffs and it is worth the money. I recommend the course to anyone that want to learn a 2D plat former action game
Ivan Kushnerenko –
the part where tutor integrates dummy sprites inside the project is totally missed and due to him changing the name of the file to just sprites in the next video messed up with me. I had to spend couple of minutes to figure it out by myself. Course is brief and doesn’t really explain thing in human language so far…I need to watch every instruction 3 4 times to understand why I need to do what I’m shown
Keith Michelson –
Good instructor, nice pace and real world content.

Why would you want to buy this course compared to other ones? Well… 1) It’s the first course I’ve found that actually explain very well how to use Interfaces, Class heritance and polymorphism. 2) it shows you how to publish your game on the android, for mobile and how to add mobile controls. Why should you NOT buy this course? 1) some things are made to be overcomplicated and quite convoluted, like how to check if the player is grounded or not, could be done so much easier with different methods. 2) If you’re hoping for the teacher to actually help you out and answer your questions you’re out of luck.. he just does not care to be present in the Q & A section of the course. 3) There will be an Item system… so you might also think there would be an Inventory system.. but you’re out of luck, no Inventory system explained. 4) Item and Shop systems, not beeing there an Inventory to actually store the items inside, are simplified and not expecially useful if your goal is to create a game with a bigger scope. 5) There’s not a lot about level design.. and the small parts that there is.. and it is the actual level you’re going to work on, is EXTREMLY BAD!!! You will find yourself playing on pits that just prevent you from going back up if you fall in.. and they have a botton so you can’t even die and restart.. if you learn that this is good as a level design then you’re done for. What can I say.. this course was worth it for me because of the class inheritance and the interfaces practical explanation.. and if you’re confused about those specific subjects it’s probably going to be the course that’ll open your mind at that regard.. but everything else is either standard (so that you can find elsewhere) or bad (so that you can find done way better elsewhere). It’s not a bad course overal thanks to that specific explanations I mentioned.

With the other course u could learn everything super easy due to his amazing teaching skills and way of teaching. I suppose this course will be no different or maybe even better.
Ronald Steven Green –
A good start, my knowledge of 2D tilemaps was almost non existent, this course is solving that.
Anton –
he didn’t introduce me to unity like I’m student he began like I have a little experience
Alec Sherlock –

The course is not actual to Unity 2019.04 and current version of 2d extras(v1.4.0)
Pavel Andonovic –
Great and slow course, hope it keeps this nice tempo
Harekam Singh –
hes not very helpful AT ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL. those extras l’s are for him. DO NOT LISTEN TO HIM’ DO WHAT EVER U WANT TO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Emanuel Ferreira –
Curso bom, mas faltou assuntos essenciais como udio. Tamb m poderia ter mostrado o processo para publicar o game na app store. Al m disso, senti que nos t picos finais as aulas ficaram corridas demais. Mas um bom curso, aprendi muito com ele.
Matt Huppatz –
Not much detail on why we’re doing things, just following along so far.
Elias Nunes de Carvalho –
Pulou algumas etapas, mas consegui resolver
Jonathan Harvey –
I barely got past the first few videos but I am excited to use this to help make my first 2D action game!
Ramon Kint de Morais In cio –
Bem did tico, consigo acompanhar tudo sem problemas
usamah rakib –
it’s worth taking
Aksabhan –
Great…A tad redundant when creating the enemies, but otherwise really good and well explained
Sergio Gonzalez Pino –
Me ha ense ado bastante, pero tambi n la mayor parte del juego tiene fallos por todos lados y lo veo incompleto.
Nathan R Blethen –
So far, this has been the easiest method of learning for me.
Matheus Martins Bueno –
So far it has been what I was looking for.

I think overall rating it is 2.5 stars but depending on what I was asking to review it would be a completely different score so I will break it down. Game Development in general: 5 stars. This course is actually brilliant for learning different concepts of game development and the lecturer explains things clearly and at a good speed where you will get time to understand what he has taught you. He also encourages you to do challenges rather than just listen and follow what he does but with the option to just follow along. Mobile side: 1 star. Well if you are like me and you came here to learn specifically for Mobile development then boy you will be let down. The parts that are more related to Android Development are actually quite small in contrast to the rest of the course but what is more damning is the course was fairly out of date when it came to the Android section and I had to use Google for a vast amount of setting up on a mobile device and this is even with using a similar mobile device as the lecturer! When you look at the comments on the particular android lectures, the only support the lecturer will offer is a generic message to a link to a discord which was very difficult to navigate and find any information on what I got stuck on. I feel the course title would be better just stating, The Ultimate Guide to 2D Game Development with Unity as it did not feel ultimate in terms of android development and there is no iOS development at all which is fine because I wasn’t necessarily looking for that.
Julian Slonim –
There is no video explaning to put the assets we downloaded to our project folder, got confused for a little when we created palettes because of that, but the course otherwise looks really good so far
Mino Kim –
DO NOT GET THIS COURSE. Get any other Unity course (even if it’s not for mobile gaming, it’ll still be better than this). The course is outdated and will cause many headaches. The instructor is subpar, and the course itself is extremely shallow. Don’t waste your time or money on this course.
Partaj Singh –
Not good at explaining, self promotes at least 10 times per section, makes you waist time on designing a level just to make you download a different one, he makes you write something just to write something else, that’s it for my review.
Amine Bouajaji –
Videos trop couts
Oscar Alejandro M ndez Ventura –
The instructor is amazing, every step was detailed and objective. This is your course if you are looking to become a beginner mobile game developer.
