THIS IS YOUR ROADMAP TO LEARNING & BECOMING HIGHLY PROFICIENT IN DATA PREPROCESSING, DATA WRANGLING, & DATA VISUALIZATION USING TWO OF THE MOST IN–DEMAND R DATA SCIENCE PACKAGES!
Hello, My name is Minerva Singh. I am an Oxford University MPhil graduate in Geography & Environment & I finished a PhD at Cambridge University in Tropical Ecology & Conservation.
I have +5 of experience in analysing real–life data from different sources using statistical modelling and producing publications for international peer–reviewed journals. If you find statistics books & manuals too vague, expensive & not practical, then you’re going to love this course!
I created this course to take you by hand and teach you all the concepts, and tackle the most fundamental building block on practical data science – data wrangling and visualisation.
THIS COURSE WILL TEACH YOU ALL YOU NEED AND PUT YOUR KNOWLEDGE TO PRACTICE NOW!
This course is your sure–fire way of acquiring the knowledge and statistical data analysis wrangling and visualisation skills that I acquired from the rigorous training I received at 2 of the best universities in the world, the perusal of numerous books and publishing statistically rich papers in the renowned international journal like PLOS One.

Voke –
very descriptive videos and easy to follow and practice along. I will recommend it to anyone looking to learn R with no previous experience with R.
Mayur Sudan More –
Really helpful. Thank you.
Quentin Jones –
Liked the focus on two packages and the tidyverse family
Charles Knell –
The instructor was inconsistent in her use of assignment operators. The preferred R assignment operator (< ) was sometimes used and at other times the equal sign ( ) was used with no remark. My biggest gripe is the quality of the video in Section 6. More than half of the lessons had the video portion out of focus. I couldn't watch them. Generally good, but can benefit from more careful review/editing.
sushma Pandey –
Informative
Jibon Sonsar –
Complicated things explained step by step amazing. I love the focus on TIDYVERSE

S , fue una gran selecci n. Me gusta el enfoque espec fico en la familia ordenada de versos.
Molly Lim –
It covers tidyverse very well
Shithia Tanni –
The basic concept is well explained and it also provides several examples with a different scenario that very helpful to understand the theory. It will save you a lot of time to do online search when you have problems in the future.
Nicola Mendi –
Very serious and detailed.Clear to me.
Kilappa Thanisha –
Cette classe fantastique inclut la plupart des concepts utiles et du code sur le paquet tidyverse.
Nirsartho Luv –
I was exactly looking at the same requirement in my upcoming project. At the same time, my feeling is too much cool. Thanks Dear

Video editing is weak, and feels like each lecture was only recorded once with no editing or re takes, and sometimes the video seems to end almost mid sentence? However, the subject matter is current and the basics are covered, so if you aren’t a new R user then you’ll be able to take away plenty of information from this course , but newer users may struggle a bit as lectures can jump around and some concepts are only half explained.
Siam aaron –
Fully described tidyr and dplyr using R. Overall Great course outline and materials! Keep it up!

Course pattern is absolutely organized. Subjects like data visualization tidyverse are explained elaborately in such a small time which save my time and effort.

Editing of the videos is pretty poor: Videos end abruptly, there is a bit of waiting around and doing nothing during some videos, the instructor’s heavy breathing interrupts the thought process, some times the jump in concepts is not intuitive, occasionally there are parts that go wrong and the instructor hasn’t explained why or fixed it but just skipped it. The quality could be improved by a great deal because the underlying content is good, but everything else that isn’t distracts you while you’re trying to learn. One major and inexcusable flaw is that the course content is not structured well at all. I don’t feel like I’m learning all there is to learn about Tidyverse.

Helpful because I know a little bit about R already and needed practice with data sets. However, the lectures could be more clear. Right now, it’s a little hard to follow the logic sometimes. Perhaps an outline or summary would help frame each lesson. There is a lot of code that is just given (typed or on the screen during lecture) but not really explained or taught. But I have learned some new skills, so I give it 3 stars because of that.

The instructor definitely knows her stuff but maybe not the best at explaining things. Kind of a fast course and for some reason, some videos were very blurry.

Poor thing prepared by a likely great expert. I completed the course in hope that things will be ordered and explained in latter lessons, but I disappointed. Best universities have taught R Ms Prof. Minerva, as she advertises… Hmmm…., I would feel very ashamed if students gave me remarks see others’ comments and questions and I would change nothing by months, e.g.: not working, lacking or invisible code (e.g. #40), no appropriate data (lacking csv #34), videos in resolution I guess 240 x 160 or sthg alike (#36, #38, …), so the code within RStudio is completely invisible … Last but not least: what the $^#@$# explaining OLS thoroughout the entire lecture ( #39) has to do with tidyr/dplyr?? It was very unpredictable and chaotic, copy pasting code, rollercoaster with showing tables of results within code window by scrolling up and down, messing with < ... I still had to google different issues, as the course did not explained them (e.g. do(head(blah, blah); complete.cases/na.omit/drop na; using class() instead of typeof(), ; etc. etc.). The instructor has unquestionable knowledge and practice, and I found some practical advices hence two stars but in sum it was a waste of time.
Kaushal –
Excellent & Knowledgeable

There are a number of online courses on tidy data available , but I found this to be one of the best. Lectures were based on real life problems. Course content delivery by the Instructor was very good.
Tabu Zerin –
Was my first and best experience of learning online. I think it’s the best way of learning python because you get to understand the fundamentals from really experienced instructors.
Namira Nazma –
This is a fantastic course, it is challenging and you really need to dig in to get the most out of it. I would recommend it if you want to learn tidy data completely.
Susan Tang –
Good but basic
Sabita Farah –
It is a super learning friendly course. Not too extremely hard, but also a little bit challenging sometimes. That’s why it motivates learners and keeps them keeping learning.
Rabbi Kajol –
I’ve taken a lot of various courses on tidy data, and I can safely say this crash course is a nice way to bridge the gap between baby’s first code and actual practical uses.
