In this course you will learn how to make a system to equip weapons and gears to characters.
Why would you want to learn how to build a system to equip items on characters? Because it’s a very efficient way to create an engaging game where players love to explore the world you create to find legendary items and magic weapons and make their character more powerful and unique.
All the great games out there are using this system, look at Zelda, or World of Warcraft or MineCraft or even Star Wars.
This course can be taken by anyone even if you’ve got no programming skills or very little
This course is meant for non–artists, meaning you don’t have to be an artist to be able to use 3D pixel art graphics.

An outstanding course. Just what I was after. I have been wondering about how to add objects to my rig. I had been doing it manually but in this amazing, well prepared course Yohann teaches how to do this via code. It’s not easy but Yohann makes it easy. And there is so much more. I am looking forward the next course.

I really enjoyed this course. The instructor is very upbeat, knowledgeable, and entertaining. There is a ton of great information. The only gripe is that I had problems setting up my character animations. He keeps sliding after attacking and would not move properly, and we never set up walking backwards. I also keep getting an error message The thing you want to instantiate is null . I asked the question in the question section and no response back. I m new to programming so my issues might not become yours. With just these few problems I had, I still think this is a wonderful course and would defiantly recommend to someone.

i have tryed 3 times this project and i started from the begining in every trys. after the animations lecture; my screen and instructors screen are diffrent. for example instructor applies an integer for animatior paramaters of vertiacal movement but after few secons instructers screen shows speed 0,0 and my screen shows 0. i couldnt work walking animation. i have gone for strafe animations it didnt work like instructors video. i have given my 5 long nights for this video(night till morning) and couldnt solve the problems.

He spends a lot of time waffling and saying this like You already know this. or This is obvious. Explain it, don’t explain it, but please don’t spend time explaining why you don’t need to explain it, then explaining it anyways.

I love this instructor !! He explains everything very clearly and does not make me feel dumb in the process lol.

If you want to understand concepts, this isn’t the course. It’s more about the process, the how, not the why. The instructor also seems to code in the order you would if you knew what you were coding, not what you were trying to do. For example, there’s a few cases where he’ll call a function before he’s written it which is a bit confusing. I definitely learned what I wanted from this course, but not as much as I could have had the context and rationale for decisions been explained.
