This is a great course for me. Luckily I have some programming experience or some of it would be daunting. A few things are glossed over but easy enough to explain (although you can’t really complete the course in 4 hours).

I had alot of doubt that I would be able to successfully create a game, but this course has given me confidence. I have successfully followed the course and it is very easy to follow. So far I have learned alot about development in such a short amount of time.

I would have liked to see more time dedicated to the implementation of ads (rewarded, banner, etc) and additional ways to monetize a game

Very clear and straight forward. Always wanted to use Unity but it looked a bit confusing. But this course is easy to follow along with!

I am enjoying this course, I find it very interesting and helpful. I have the following suggestions though: 1. Using the dark theme on Visual Studio for a tutorial makes the code less visible than if you used a bright theme. 2. The tutor fails to give some in depth or ore detailed explanations of parts of the coding, which only makes the tutorial look like every other Youtube tutorial video. I bought the course to gain that extra level of understanding.

Im gonna rewatch this course again. I really liked.

Thanks for a great course. I love how I don’t have to spend 40 plus hours on this like other courses, and instead can get a detailed, but to the point tutorial.

So I purchased this course about 6 8 months ago. I benefited essentially at the time in getting started in creating endless runner type of games. Needless say I did venture off in trying different things that aren’t taught in this course for endless runners, but I am giving this course a high score because the simple fact that I was able to come back recently in order to figure out how to make shaders operate correctly so that my level has a nice curvature, versus a long flat boring platform. I am very happy that I have this course as a point of reference with an instructor who was a great help for me. Thank you sir for doing this and making the information easy to follow and work.

Perfect clear voice so far, and going at a great pace

It was good to follow all the way up to the connecting ads and dealing with that. Then it got a bit confusing. Had to watch those sections several times to keep up. Still can’t quite figure out how to get it done. Perhaps putting the ad code in it’s own script would have been easier to follow. I appreciated the code then test the game method. Overall a decent tutorial. Good for the basics and building something complete. Definitely going to take this and see how I can use what I learned to make my own version.

Sometimes went too fast. At times I wish he would explain what he’s doing while he’s doing it.

Don’t waste your time on this. Instructor does not respond to questions, the information is sorely OUTDATED and for the most part not compatible or match description of 2020 version of Unity. Hard to follow and does not give good explanations on what little information is usable. Had to repeatedly go search the web to understand what was really needed.

Thank you David for this course. It helped me to get started with Unity while allowing me to create my first ever game/app in App Store! Thank you again. Feel free to play it! https://apps.apple.com/us/app/cyberbolt/id1532655861

Perfect for experienced developers to get a rapid run through everything.

It was easy to follow along. I only ran into 2 coding issues (which I believe have more to do with the version of Unity I was using and NOT an instructor/instruction problem). I took this course in April of ’21 which was 2 years after the course was put online and it was still relevant, minus the Ad support, which has changed since then.
