It does a really good job of explaining why you should or should not do things a certain way. If you are interested in best practices and fully understanding what you are doing as a WordPress developer this is the course for you. Course starts off very well and easy to understand. after about 65% of the course he really speeds up, copying big chunks of code and expecting you to pause and copy. he will also speed up the video while he types things making it impossible to keep up without pausing. Explanations are sparse towards the end. It’s a shame it really seemed like he was rushing at the end and the course became less enjoyable.

Overall the course was very good. There was one section where a step was missed out resulting in the code not working correctly and I commented in this section. The pace at times was a bit tto fast and felt could with some more explanation/detail on the code being used.

This course is extremely bad! One of the worst that I’ve ever tried. The high rating must have been artificially manipulated. The course is chaotic. A lot of copy and paste. Exhausting.

There is entirely too much cutting, pasting and formatting of the assets files to create the theme templates. Furthermore, the templates are much too complex to learn any valuable information. Obviously the instructor is knowledgeable, but does not know how to create lessons in an orderly, learnable manner. I had to give up on this course after Section 2. I would NOT recommend it to anyone!

Yes it’s perfect for my level of understanding. I know some of it already but it’s good to refresh and gain new insight into things. The introduction to the command line/node.js has made me realise it’s more straighforward than I thought and has very quickly cleared up unkowns that were stopping me from delving into it.
