Not really because some of these steps don’t work on my pc and nje the way firebase operates is different. I have to figure a lot of the stuff, like the sha key.

Fantastic course with a great instructor. Only comment thus far would be to add a ‘polish’ section to really get the app styling nice and modern. E.g.: * Auto zoom on route, overlays block the route, would be great to have a zoom in and out automatically as the route is followed and when the estimation layout displays so the relevant information is always on screen * Resources like free online logo and asset generators for collateral would be a fantastic tie in with this. Could be a class on how he created the demo logo for example and generated all the mipmap assets. * In a real world scenario, the fare rates etc. would be fetched server side, as well as other settings. We have the User Database but no ‘backend’ per say, some simple web service examples or a second global app settings database that can be tapped into for fare rates at runtime would be a nice addition.

This course is not a complete course. Whatever the instructor shows on the intro video is not what we get at the end of the course. Lots of parts are missing and we are unable to make the complete app as mentioned. The course is also not providing proper information correctly. I have contacted the instructor several times and did not get any proper solution. This is not what I expect and i never recommend this course for anyone.

Excellent course, the only problem i had was probably due to me. English is not my first language and I can’t handle much of foreign accent and many times couldn’t make out what the teacher said. The other complain is the lack of assistant on the question when asked by student, however i can comprehend when there’s an overwhelming amount of students asking. I was able to finish the whole project. Good project!!!
