I personally don’t think I learned much from this course. By the end of it, I realized that I had a lot of resources to work with, but not enough knowledge base to implement something on my own or from scratch. A suggestion would be to explain specifics a little bit better instead of cramming things or jumping on to the next idea in implementing something. I enjoyed watching the videos, but I often found myself going back multiple times to try and understand why specific things were done. Moreover, I don’t think the structure of the course makes a lot of sense, and the course is very much lacking in guides. I did enjoy Romain’s attitude and it wasn’t unpleasant to follow him at all, but I was underwhelmed by the material provided. Perhaps a more in depth approach would have been more appropriate for those who are serious about learning the nooks and crannies of ARKit.

The very first section about AR Industry and Trends feels a bit too long and not really saying much apart from things we already know. Starting from the first Industrial Revolution and steam engines did not help 😉 The course got really interesting after that and got some nice insights about AR in iOS and Xcode. I am really happy to have learned quite a few tricks and also have more of an understanding of basic techniques and skills!
