Content covered in the course is decent and the instructor seems to have a good grasp on what he’s doing. There’s a few things that could have been better though. While this title is decent with its focus on box modeling a character, having a little bit on UV Mapping and Sculpting would have been nice, as those are needed for many production pipelines (games, animation, illustration). Being more descriptive with the title of each video would have helped in setting expectations. Also explaining why some choices were made would have been helpful to learning. There’s also a number of quality control issues throughout the videos and things that clearly should have been edited out, but weren’t: mistakes, conversations with people who came in the room, sneezing. Those issues make for a disjointed and, at times, confusing learning experience.
