My course will teach you how to set up and create your first Roblox game.
The course is divided into 5 Sections. It is designed to be taken in the order it is presented.
Section 1 – I show you how to create a Roblox account, and install and use Roblox Studio.
Section 2 – We then learn about coding concepts and how they work .
Section 3 – We begin to develop a Camping Game and discuss the rules and how to implement them using Lua code.
Section 4 – We continue to develop our game, adding more functionality and learn some more advanced coding techniques.

Great course that teaches you the fundamentals of Roblox scripting and game setup. The instructor is very pedagogic, and takes one thing at a time to make sure that you follow. Based on this course you can start creating small games. But more importantly, all the tutorials, all the examples on Roblox developer become more understandable after this course. I have some programming background but had never used Lua and knew nothing about programming Roblox games. This course was a great way to be introduced to making Roblox games. The sample project was small enough not to be overwhelming but had enough functionality to be useful covering different concepts. Although the lecturer tried to cover some simple programming concepts such as variables and functions, the object oriented nature might be a little overwhelming for people with not much programming experience. Even I struggled with what some of the methods used were doing. Overall, the design of the course from length to content and final product was very well balanced and having a working game at the end provided a good sense of achievement and boost to self confidence. This course was very informative, but since I am doing it in 2020 it is quite old but still the same in Roblox studio. The Roblox studio information is the same, but setup is different now. Right now when you create a Roblox account Roblox studio automatically downloads.
