He is the Director of the Center for Cyber Operations and a tenured full Professor of Computer Science at the University of North Georgia, and is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP ) and Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), and holds the elite SANS|GIAC GPEN certification, among other industry certifications. Dr. Payne is also a MOOC (massive, open, online course) instructor with over 37,000 students to his credit, from more than 160 countries. Dr. Payne has multiple best-selling courses on Udemy, and both Real-World Ethical Hacking and Learn Java the Easy Way have been rated in the top 10% of all Udemy courses!
