The first section was VERY basic. Building a game with bunnies? Really? Might be good for getting more children of the female persuasion to start into the gaming industry. Then…in the second section, it jumps into lots of coding and more intermediate topics. This will give that 10 year old girl a nose bleed because it is a complete departure from the first section. Good concepts in framework design, interfaces, abstraction, event handling, etc…but the instructor is very monotone, fast paced with minimal explanation. In several parts he just skips stuff in the interest of saving time, so you’re left scratching your head trying to figure out what just happened, why is my stuff not working like his, when did that code get changed, etc…If you download the files and open in Unity nothing was working….at least not for me. Objects missing scripts, prefabs missing, legacy code errors, camera and light not even in the game, etc…. so no help here. Man….dang….had all the makings to have been a good section but was rushed and felt like it was slapped together. If you’re a person who reads books by simply reading the back cover, introduction and reviews then you might get something from this training. For those of you who need to read cover to cover x2r, see the movie, have deep discussions with your friends about the characters and plot and can’t wait for the sequel…I wouldn’t even bother with this. Why are there sooooo many reviews but only one with 5 stars being displayed? Where is this review, huh???
