What is this course about?
Nowadays, TypeScript and React are extremely popular in the world of front end, and many companies use them to develop their web apps. Therefore, being able to build React apps using TypeScript is quite a valuable skill in 2020. This course will teach you the TypeScript skills that are necessary to start building React apps with confidence.
You’ll learn how to describe types for the function and class components, use higher order components and render props patterns for code reuse, import third–party libraries, their types, and create custom types for them if necessary.
This course is most suited to those who have worked on React applications in the past and now want to learn TypeScript.
You’ll learn how to use TypeScript to build a React web application.
What are we going to build?
Project 1:
We’ll build an example Create React App project with TypeScript and Redux. The focus of this project is to show how to use TypeScript with Redux while developing a simple web app.
Project 2:
We’ll build a task list app called Task Mate using the Next.js framework and Apollo GraphQL libraries. You’ll learn how to:

In my opinion: I find it confusing that there is no ongoing story a project which was open in the clip before, is suddenly gone and a whole new project is open.. At the start of the course, there is no real code along along bit. Pure explanations on how to do someting and there is no theory behind the subjects. Furthermore, the accent makes it hard to follow.

This course is very fast paced and not at all for someone who is trying to learn. It seems like it is a revision course for somebody who already know the topics. Also the instructor has no intention of presenting the topics in a more interesting and engaging way.

I went into this course having one bad experience with TS and to be honest, I still don’t really like it. But don’t let that be a reflection of the course itself. The course was excellent. Perhaps a little too long it could be split into smaller courses (TypeScript with Redux, TypeScript with Next.js, Typescript with Basic React), but the content was very good and the pacing of each sub section was good too. Overall, great course!

Amazing course! He teaches React and Redux and typescript which is exactly what I was looking for. I sometimes saw a bit of disorganization when it came down to organization of functions and such but nothing to important that I could over look it and still give this 5 start. Excellent course

This course started off pretty good, then it seems that the instructor jumped into a lot of new concepts (seemed to be in the middle of it) and moved fast without explaining some of these concepts.
