I have been an automation tester for 1 year and half and usually I reuse or reverse engineer code that is already present in other projects, but this course is on another level of explanation. I think is one of the few that teach you how to read the documentations, syntax and design. I will recommend this to some coworkers definitely.

Nice step by step explanation so far.

I just finished this course and I can say this is probably the best course on API automation on Udemy. I stumbled upon some videos of Rahul’s on youtube and was amazed by his content. I then got to know about his Udemy course on REST API automation and it was worth my time and money. The range of topics covered in this course is awesome. The instructor explains things in a very clear and sequential manner. He not only simply writes the code, rather shows the API documentation for interfaces, classes, and methods used in the framework which will help students understand better. The instructor usually responds to queries within 24 hours and all my queries were answered. I feel this course is very underrated and it really deserves more appreciation. I hope the instructor comes up with a new course covering topics for SDET role/ white box testing in future. I would pay my money to learn from him.

Course content: Very good Pace of the course: Very good Only thing which I would like instructor to improve is to get one step down to candidates who are not good in Java. Need more explanation/commentary while explaining concepts and writing code, taking file name where he is putting a particular code etc. This is little confusing at times. Otherwise this is excellent course for those who knows Java. Thank you Rahul and all the best..

This course provides basic material on Restassured and does not provide complete details. For complete details you need to google a lot. e.g. in real time scenarios we need too validate certificates in p12 or jks formate for SSL handshake but it does not have course dedicated to this important topic. If you want to learn Restassured you can learn from free resource available n Google or Youtube and there is no need to buy this course. Also installation of Oracle VM is simply unnecessary which tutor asks to do in the beginning.

So far it is going well. Although installation part was a good learning curve for me. I had to research a lot to fix various problems.
